Professional Experience

Chris currently serves as a Cyber Operations Specialist and Vice President at Truist Financial, supporting enterprise-level cyber defense initiatives including threat hunting, incident response, and security operations strategy.

In parallel, he serves as a Police Sergeant with the Spring Hope Police Department, where he has trained and developed new officers as a Field Training Officer (FTO), supports operational planning, and contributes to the overall development of the department.

He also plays a key operational role within Beacon Rescue, a nonprofit search and rescue and disaster response organization, supporting real-world deployments, communications systems, and mission execution in dynamic environments.

Real-World Deployment

Chris has participated in real-world disaster response and humanitarian missions, including international deployment to Jamaica following severe storm impacts.

His responsibilities included coordinating communications infrastructure, deploying Starlink systems, supporting emergency logistics, and maintaining operational awareness in rapidly evolving environments.

His field experience includes the integration of mission-critical technologies such as:
